Falcon Relishes Chinese Oranges

It is a sight to behold .......the falcon has taken fancy to our chinese orange tree and is relishing the sour oranges.......just take a look at these pictures as the New Zealand Falcon grabs the orange and eats it.

Falcon Adorning My Chinese Orange Tree

We were amazed to see a falcon on our Chinese Orange Tree. It was a dense foggy morning when I clicked this picture so clarity is less. Our gardener was surprised as he mentioned that falcons prefer taller trees. But this falcon has taken fancy to our chinese oranges. It is relishing the oranges and looks like it is going to make a nest here in this tree.

This is a New Zealand Falcon....wow.....must have travelled thousands of miles to reach here. So it is a migratory bird.....
