Tailor Bird's Nest An Unusual Art Form

We were amazed to see this nest made by a tailor bird. The bird had brought just the right woollen thread that it sew through a green leaf to make a secure conical nest for its eggs. Each stitch was so neat and of great precision to not puncture the leaf. The nest was sewn with the support of the leaf and hidden behind the branch of the small plant. This was talent that noone will notice but is worth appreciating as well as imbibing. This was a piece of art to be preserved. The stitches were so fine that the leaf did not lose its freshness or softness for months even after the little fledglings flew out of the nest. I had tried my hand at stitching and did not find it easy hence seeing this nest made me sheepish for not being able to learn sewing.
